Tendable, which provides software to health and social care organizations in the UK and overseas, has invested in a new office in the Platform building in Leeds.

The company already has a global presence with locations in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and South Africa.

He says Leeds was a key choice for his next move because of the significant health tech presence in the area and central links to NHS Digital and NHS England.

Having secured a £4m investment from blue-chip VCT investment firm Octopus Investments last year, the company has strong growth ambitions for the year ahead.

Tenable says the addition of the new location in Leeds will be a critical part of that growth.

The office will house the company’s sales and marketing teams, with four new positions announced immediately.

Tim Bolot, Founder and CEO, said: “We seek to work closely with all of our clients and recruit and retain the best talent wherever they are and Leeds is the ideal city to do this with its dynamic health technologies and its links to NHS Digital. and NHS England.

“Platform is the perfect location as part of Leeds train station, which means our London and Leeds offices are indeed two and a half hours apart.

“The investment in our Leeds office is a key part of our growth strategy and provides the start of an exciting new chapter for Tendable.”

Rhian Bulmer, Head of Partnerships, said: “I am so delighted that Tendable has chosen Leeds as their northern headquarters.

“Leeds is my home town and I grew up in health technology – from my very first business studies project working with LGI to look at the effectiveness of home staff wearable systems.

“Over the years I have seen the health technology market in Leeds grow, diversify and innovate. It is an honor to be part of it. »

Deb Hetherington, Head of Innovation at Bruntwood SciTech, added, “Tendable is a great example of a health technology provider that has designed a solution that perfectly fills a gap in the market.

“Having them in our dedicated technology hub in Leeds, Platform, is a great addition to our growing innovative ecosystem of forward-thinking technology companies.”
