In line with the World Health Organization (WHO) Global Strategy on “Human Resources for Health: Workforce 2030”, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) has published at earlier this month draft guidelines aimed at improving the working conditions of all categories of nurses in all health facilities across India. The WHO global strategy calls for a safe and healthy working environment for nurses to ensure quality nursing care.
